Veronika Vlková (b. 1985, Brno) studied in the Studio of Multimedia at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Brno. In her work she turns notions, memories, fairy tale themes, dreams and her own mythologies into narrative drawings and paintings, videos, installations and exhibition units. Her main inspiration comes from the creations of various cultures and their meeting points. In the long term, she collaborates with other artists. For instance, she created a series of exhibitions with Jan Šrámek. She also participates in music projects where she is responsible for the musical and visual sections (Teve, Floex).
She lives and works in Brno, Czech Republic, and Stockholm, Sweden
For the Festivals of Live Cinema, Vlková has prepared an original audio-visual project Stone Horizon for the Stavanger Tou Scene and PAF, in collaboration with Kateřina Koutná (Makak) and Greg Pope.
