Michal Pustějovský (b. 1984 Frýdek Místek, Czech Republic) graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Prague in 2013. There, in the Studio New Media I., he gained his Master Degree under the supervision of Markus Huemer. For his diploma thesis, he was awarded the London Connext Award. In 2011, he had an internship at the Universität der Künste in Berlin, in the studio of Prof. Joachim Saufer. A year later, he had another internship at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. He has presented dozens of solo and group exhibitions in the Czech Republic as well as abroad. Currently, he is working with kinetic and light objects. He is, among others, the author of the interactive LED installation within the ACUO project.
He lives and works in London.
