An intensive two-day workshop under the supervision of visual artists from the Lunchmeat studio will show the comprehensive process, beginning with the preparation and implementation of scenography, proceeding through the creation of materials, and ending with performances that use contemporary VJing programmes and techniques. It is intended that all the applicants will develop their experience in new media, especially VJing, live painting and mapping. They will also extend their knowledge of Resolume software and live production of screenings. After an introduction to the creation of visuals, the participants in the workshop will briefly deal with the theoretical basis of scenographic formation. In groups they will attempt to design a simple scene. The best design will be implemented on the music stage of PAF. The participants will particularly deal with various techniques that lead towards the animation and visualisation of their own creative ideas in VJ practice. The experienced instructors from Lunchmeat will present the work in the Resolume programme along with many other VJ techniques and methods. The workshop's capacity is limited to 12 participants and is intended for interested persons with at least a minimal knowledge of the subject. The outputs and practical attempts will be introduced during Saturday's night festival programme.
