During her art residence in August, the Czech Internet artist (c) merry intends to create the first Facebook sculpture, proceeding from this network’s structural material and principles as well as its audience. The artwork ideologically follows structural and metrical filmsand ornamental sound experiments by Oskar Fischinger.
There will also be a pleasant surprise for PAF fans…
The project under auspices of Chloë Flores, the Los Angeles curator, will culminate in the group exhibition in California.
The temporal metrical sculpture will be accessible from the 1st of August to the 31st of August 2013 on Chloë Flores' profile (friendship is recommended).
More information can be found on the project web site which also involves sculpture Kaderplan (score, scheme). During the realization the web page will be gradually complemented with the sculpture process documentation and thus offers the project insight to those, who miss it on Facebook.
