I am entering the competition with a trailer of appropriate length. Let the application also include the final forty‐minute film. I would like to introduce it performatively as part of the exhibition and in such a way that the projection will be disturbed as much as possible. Let The Future Belongs to Helium be filled by an artist’s dream about star expansion.
Let helium make everything which is lightweight elevated. Let everyone, once they breathe it in, become enthused and let them endlessly live their own lives, though in sluggish mutation. A specific kind of vicarious halo is provided by a special form of heliosis in the form of a science fiction film which will, at the festival, represent an infectious form of an artistic, and specific kind of sunstroke. Let the film be a transmitter of a sketch, even any general enthusiasm whatsoever.
