The “post-internet” exhibition that was prepared under the auspices of PAF by the curator Marie Meixnerová takes place in Gallery U Mloka, Olomouc, Czech Republic, from March 3 to April 5 2016.
As Marie Meixnerová noted, the contact outcome of the collective Inter-face exhibition is “the thematization of (self)presentation through technical image. The technical image in the presented works appears as an “interface” that becomes the outcome for the development and modification of social bonds. In all the cases these are deranged in a way and notably determined by the nature of the technical image that, on the inner personal, intimate and emotional level, enters as a mediator into the interhuman communication.”
Five artists will present their work during the exhibition. These artists are connected to the Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno (Brno University of Technology) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, – Jiří Žák, Jakub Benda, Kryštof Ambrůz, Oleksandr Martsynyuk and David Přílučík. Audiences in Olomouc could have encountered Přílučík's work in December 2014 during his individual exhibition The Least Action in the Gallery U Mloka.
The vernissage of the Inter-face exhibition took place at 7 PM on Thursday 3rd of March 2016 in the Gallery U Mloka.
