Michal Cáb, an artist dealing mainly with sound and its interaction with image, is about to present his work in the Olomouc exhibition space Vitrína Deniska in July. The opening of Where is Wall yexhibition will be followed by the presentation of Cáb’s work and a picnic.
Michal Cáb, also known under the pseudonym Cabowitz (*1980), is a Czech visual artist dealing mainly with sound and the interaction of sound and image. He graduated in theology and continued his studies at FAMU Centre for Audio-visual Studies. However, he did not finish the studies. Nowadays, he is a PhD student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, the studio of Conceptual Creation. His domain is Linux operating system and Pure Data application. He explores their possibilities in the field of new media creation. Furthermore, he is known as a noise musician and a programmer and he also cooperates with actors and visual artists.
The exhibition Where is Wally is about searching and disappearing. As a variation on a popular game, it can also serve as a means of entertainment for the passers-by.
