Vladimír Havlík (b. 1959) graduated from Pedagogical faculty at Palacký University in Olomouc, where he works since 1990 as a pedagogue. He was awarded the degree of senior lecturer in 1999. He is currently a head of the Intermedia studio at the Department of Art Education, Palacký University. He has been a lecturer and guest teacher at many of Universities and art schools in the Czech Republic and abroad, among others St. Cloud State University, Minessota (2003–04). Havlík is known primarily for his 1980s actions, land-art interventions and performances, for a short time he also devoted himself to painting. He is currently working with his archive of notes and documentation of his previous works.
He lives and works in Olomouc.
He participated on the dramaturgy of the final part of the Festivals of Live Cinema project, and as moderator during PAF–Festival of Film Animation.
