On Thursday, the 9th of November, the Cross9 Prequel “Slime to Fill Blanks” event will take place in Budapest with the cooperation of PAF. The work of David Přílučík will be presented by PAF curator Nela Klajbanová and the gallery Art+Text.
The 9th Crosstalk Video Art Festival focuses on works that represent a transition from digitally recorded videos to digitally created worlds through works by artists and independent producers. While video and photos are about framing an already existing environment, computer-generated production works with a radically different ontology. Digital rendering either overlaps with a given value, transforming what we perceive as reality (AR), or resorting to empty space (games, VRs) to create alternatives.
Nela Klajbanová will introduce the work of artist David Prilučík in Budapest, who is a long-time PAF associate and among other honors is a finalist in the moving image contest Other Visions CZ 2015. The event will also feature projections of his latest video, Blind Bidding.
