The block of Australian animation offers the unique opportunity to become acquainted with the work of local workshops within which the Aborigines, the native Australian inhabitants, self-fulfil. Many of the projected films are not for distribution at all, but they serve as therapeutic tools. Those films will be supplemented by “white” Australian filmmakers: Denis Tupicoff, Sophie Byrne and Lee Whitmore.
