Swing is an interactive video-installation which uses and enlarges the montage techniques of structural film in a communication play between the audience, the cine-camera, the projection and an everlasting metamorphosis of the image time flow.
This particular realization is inspired mainly by the micromontage techniques of Ken Jacobs (Nervous Magic Lantern) and films by Martin Arnold (passage à l'acte). Blažíček recreates the original montage techniques into algorithms that manipulate the real timing of video; the image is recorded, re-cut and projected at the very same moment.
