The curator, programme manager and theorist graduated from sociology (1999–2004) and film studies (1999–2006) at the Philosophical Faculty, Palacký University in Olomouc. In 2012 he graduated from post-gradual study of film editing at FAMU (Film and Tv School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague). Since 2007 he has been a head programme manager & curator of PAF, since 2009 he has been focusing on curatorial activities concerning presentation of moving image in gallery and film system (Josef Sudek's Studio, KGVU Zlín, Sumemr Film School, Febiofest, Aye Aye, Youth Gallery in Brno, etc.). Editor of several publications (Peter Kubelka, Olomouc: 2008; Manifests of the Moving Image: Colour Music, Olomouc: 2010; Fragile Cinema: Olomouc: 2013; Michal Pěchouček: Studio, Olomouc: 2013). He is a member of MEDIABAZE.CZ research team (FAMU Center for Audio Visual Studies). He has been publishing in Cinepur, Iluminace, Labyrint Revue, A2 and other cultural and art periodicals.
Project leader of Festivals of Live Cinema project, at which he participated also as curator.
