Like She is an electro-punk group with intensive visual rinse of overconstructed comics. Like She represents the supreme offshoot of the Ostravan scene and of Label Vole Love Records. At this year’s Stimul festival they played before Peaches from Canada, and the latter’s hyped-up performance was only a weak form of the energy that this trinity showed to the audience. |

presentation
This is an attempt to communicate with people who hide behind a screen board through which they talk to the audience. Most of them screen from behind the screen or from the shadow of the audience seats, some new phenomena move along the stage as well. Midday Sunday discussion, attended by several VJ performers, is an experiment that might or might not be successful. One possible reason for troubles is the absence or silence of the artists, who are used to expressing themselves visually, not verbally. |

Pure B & TOY_BOX | performance
Comics Live is a project based on the principle of interaction between music and non-computer animation that is created on the spot in front of an audience. Comics Live is an experiment focusing on the way of transferring a comic story into real time. It contains many elements that comic readers are used to, e.g. text in bubbles and clearly profiled characters. However, at the same time it expresses the essence of emotions one feels in an urban and post-postmodern environment. |
