On Wednesday, November 8, PAF will present the latest work of graduate artist James Jansa at New York’s Cooper Union - Club of Opportunities
In his work, Jakub Jansa freely combines various media (video, performance, installation) and creates new complex environments. His work intentionally balances at the edges of various means of expression. In his exhibition projects, he often involves performers - including himself - together with the viewers and visitors of the exhibition, and thus brings about managed or planned situations related to the given project. His work is usually set in the world of proponents of progress and increasing efficiency, where the never-ending revolution becomes his daily bread.
Jakub Jansa is a graduate of the UMPRUM studio “Supermedia”, led by Frederic Díaz and David Kořínek.
