The end of May in Olomouc will belong to the Italian conceptual art. The group of four artists under the aegis of Czech radical conceptualist Vladimir Havlik will introduce the third modification of their extensive project Dialogos, which they decided to spread between the white-cube of Galerie Caesar and the independent exhibition space Vitrína Deniska (co-produced by PAF).
“DIALOGOS PART THREE is the third edition of a research undertaking,” states the exhibition organizer Vladimír Havlík. “Started from an idea by Ermanno Cristini, Dialogos Part Three builds on the experience of a project launched in 2011, with an exhibition at the Assab One, in Milan and developed in 2013 with an exhibition at MACT/CACT Center for Contemporary Art, Bellinzona (Switzerland).” Now, the modification of their processual work (with bases on the web) is presented for the first time in the Czech Republic.
Dialogos is an exhibition project that occupies an ideal space between the dynamics of performance and installation art, drawing its inspiration from the possibility of conceiving of space as a formula of time, in other words putting the focus on the ‘when’ before the ‘where’, at the juncture when it is negotiated and transformed by a relationship. Dialogue thus takes on the guise of an aesthetic practice, as it is the very element that modulates and structures first a time, then a space.
