Daniela Arriado (Chile/Norway) works as independent media art curator and producer, dedicated to the practice of moving image. She holds a degree in Aesthetics & Arts Administration at the University of Stavanger, and Curatorial Studies at Bergen Academy of Art & Design. Daniela is the founder and Director of the nomadic media art platform Art Republic dedicated to the relationship between interaction, new media and public space. From 2009-2011 she developed the Public Art Screens project with i/o/lab - Centre for Future Arts in Norway, and since then dedicated to the development of new venues and curatorial practices for Video Art, amongs them the Screen City - festival for moving image (Stavanger) and Video Art Channel - a video art and animation channel for the hotel industry (Norway/Berlin).
Being an ambassador for PNEK - production network for Electronic Arts, Norway, her aim is to mediate the Norwegian media art scene abroad. She is based in Berlin.
