Dan Gregor (b. 1980, Prague, Czech Republic) studied photography in the Institute of Creative Photography at Silesian University in Opava, Czech Republic, and works as a graphic designer. In his independent artistic practice he uses the alias INITI. As a member of The Macula Art Group, Gregor collaborated on a number of video-mapping projects of public and historical buildings. Currently he collaborates with various theatre and music groups. With musician Tomáš Dvořák (FLOEX) he created the joint projects Archifon I for PAF 2011, Archifon II for the Brussels festival Nuit Blanche 2012 and Archifon III for Ars Electronica, Linz. He is a concept author and in charge of the interaction in multimedia theatre piece based on Václav Havel’s Anticode poetry which was presented in 2013 in the National Theatre, Prague. He lives and works in Prague, Czech Republic.
